If you're an unqualified teacher looking to progress, or if you have one in your school, our assessment only route offers a streamlined path to achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Consisting of a 12-week assessment process, our assessment only route supports individuals and schools to developing and retaining teaching talent. The cost for the assessment is £2,950 plus VAT, including a non-refundable £500 for an initial assessment visit.

The applicant will need to be working at Teachers’ Standards already, without the need for any training.
The applicant will need to have independently planned and taught classes for at least two years.
The applicant will need to have worked in at least two different schools; their current school can count as one of these.
A school may decide to arrange a second school experience when exploring the potential of this route, if needed.
The applicant will need a UK degree. Secondary applicants must have a subject relevant degree. Candidates with a 2:2 will be considered.
Primary: applicants will need GCSEs or equivalent at grade C/4 or above in English, Mathematics and Science.
Secondary: applicants will need GCSEs or equivalent at grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics.
