We know that completing some school experience prior to interview or as part of your decision process can be really beneficial.
Experiencing school life and understanding the role of a teacher by immersing yourself in the classroom will strengthen your application and mean you are more prepared for the training year ahead.
School experience can include observing lessons, learning about the curriculum, working with small groups of students and much more. You will be able to join in with break times and extra-curricular activities, as well as talk to teachers and trainees about the Inspiring Leaders SCITT programme.

I had such an amazing time and wish I could go in more often! I went into a year 6 class (Mr Swift) and I can't tell you what a great day I had. Completely thrown in, which highlighted knowledge gaps (which was good), and the children are awesome!
