Before you begin your teacher training, our friendly and dedicated team take the time to get to know you, to create a personalised training journey that is directed by experts that have thought about everything on your behalf.
Our partnership of specialists, including headteachers, senior leaders and specialist leaders of education are all involved in the delivery of our SCITT courses, and you will gain multiple opportunities to develop as a teacher, including in a range of differing, often challenging, school contexts.
Working closely with our university partners – Leicester University and Nottingham Trent University – all our Primary and Secondary SCITT courses are rooted in gaining school experience and offer both QTS and PGCE awards.
Our Primary SCITT courses are a careful blend of practice, pedagogy and reflectivity, ensuring you are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to be an exceptional teacher.
Our Secondary Teacher Training courses develop outstanding subject knowledge and teaching and learning approaches.
We have a wide and varied number of outstanding partner schools spread across Leicester, Nottingham and Derby, and surrounding areas.
